Nigerian comedian, actor, and movie maker Ayo Makun, better known by his stage name AY, has penned an emotional note to his second daughter, Ayomide, as she turns 3 today.
Taking to his Instagram page to share gorgeous photos of her, he admitted that though he doesn’t see her run around like he used to, he couldn’t be more grateful for every moment they’ve shared. He described his daughter as his mini-me and the precious gift that came after 13 years of waiting and hoping.
He stated that her arrival filled his heart with joy and confirmed his belief in the power of love and faith. Ayo Makun admitted that though so many unrepairable occurrences have engulfed the unity they once called family, she should rest assured that she is deeply loved by her mum and him.
AY gushes over his daughter’s laughter, curiosity, and sweet spirit, which brings so much happiness to everyone around her. Expressing his love for her, the proud father wrote,

Recall that in April, 2023, AY confirmed the end of his almost 20-year relationship with Mabel, expressing regrets for losing his home, and also admitted to doing things that were compromising during the marriage. He warned against projecting the wrong narrative about him and his family, which he found harmful to his teenage daughter, and hinted at the possible fault from his wife.
Mabel also broke her silence, stating that her dreams of a lifelong marriage had now taken a different direction and pleaded with the media and public to give them privacy as they navigate their new phase. She noted how many lies have been peddled against her, but she will honour her kids by not addressing them.
In November, Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that AY hasn’t reached his second daughter since their marriage crashed as Mabel had denied him all access to his second daughter. According to an insider, AY had to decide means to reach his daughter through her nanny and when Mabel found out, all hell was let loose.
