Nollywood actor and comedian Ayo Makun, better known as AY, is singing the praises of his younger brother, Yomi Casual, as he turns 40 today, January 21st.
Taking to his Instagram page to share photos of the celebrant, Ayo Makun noted how he isn’t a perfect example of keeping one’s home front intact. However, he is proud of the love and respects his brother has for his family. AY also expressed pride in Yomi’s achievements and the person he has become.
He revealed that he always thinks about the day they decided to move to Lagos and is constantly impressed by the global brand his brother has built.
Cheering on to more milestone birthdays, he rained prayers on him.

Recall that in April, 2023, AY confirmed the end of his almost 20-year relationship with Mabel, expressing regrets for losing his home, and also admitted to doing things that were compromising during the marriage.
Last week, Ayo penned an emotional note to celebrate his second daughter’s birthday. He noted how he hadn’t seen her much since his separation from her mother. However, he was grateful for every moment they shared. He further admitted that though so many unrepairable occurrences had engulfed the unity they once called family, she should rest assured that she was deeply loved by her mum and him.
To mark her day, AY shared an emotional video of him reuniting with his daughter for her birthday. The box office King had surprised her with cake and more in her school. In the clip, the toddler who was overjoyed seeing her fan ran to him in a warm embrace and the comedian carried her. Elsewhere in the clip, Ayomide, who didn’t want her dad to leave, was seen pulling his legs and asking him to stay with her.
Last year, while giving an update to their separation, Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that AY hasn’t reached his second daughter since their marriage crashed as Mabel had denied him all access to his second daughter. According to an insider, AY had to decide means to reach his daughter through her nanny and when Mabel found out, all hell was let loose.
