Elsie Okpocha, the estranged wife of comedian Basketmouth, has, in a series of cryptic posts, called him out for brainwashing their son.
Elsie questioned if a mother isn’t supposed to have access to her 16-year-old’s phone. She questioned why the comedian was still trying to frustrate her efforts because she decided to be happy.
In her last post, she questioned why a father should tell his son of 16 tears not to give his mother his password.
“I need an answer. Is a mother not supposed to have access to her 16-year-old’s phone?
How are you still trying to frustrate her efforts cos she has decided to be happy?
Tell me why a father should tell his son of 16 years!! 16!!! Not to give his mother his password??”.
In 2022, Basketmouth announced the end of his marriage with Elsie on his Instagram page. He assured to peacefully co-parent with her in caring for their children and pleaded with the public to respect their privacy.
Last year, Elsie gave a hint to the cause of her crashed marriage as she advised women with cheating spouses. She noted how a woman could be beautiful, sexy, and could have all good qualities, and yet their men would still cheat.
Early last year, an Instagram blogger had unveiled media personality, Victoria as the lady allegedly behind Basketmouth’s crashed marriage. According to the blogger, the two have been having an affair and are still going strong following his separation from his wife and the mother of his kids.
In September, Basketmouth had announced that he was beginning a new chapter of his life with the TV host.
To mark the New Year, Basketmouth stirred the internet with a post about leaving a toxic relationship. He revealed that his ex underestimated him and took him for granted until she burnt him out. He said he stood taller and stronger than he ever was and noted how his comeback was so unexpected, but he reclaimed his power.
