Big Brother Naija’s former housemate Khloe Abiri has weighed into legendary singer 2baba and Annie’s marital crisis.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday evening that 2baba, via his Instagram page, had announced his separation from Annie. He revealed that he and Annie have been separated for a while and are on the verge of divorce. He promised to grant a press release to share his side of the story.
The singer, in a follow-up post, claimed that his account was hacked and the post wasn’t true. Surprisingly, he made another U-turn as he shared videos of himself admitting to their crashed marriage.
Taking to the singer’s comment section, the reality star questioned why he would make such an announcement at such a point, knowing how Annie is getting mercilessly dragged on social media over her behavior on Young Famous and African reality show.
She stated that she wouldn’t say anything now and hoped it was a prank unless she joined many in fighting him. The reality star further expressed sadness at how wicked love can be.
“This period? Like this time? This season? Hell, No.
See ehn. Make I just no talk anything right now cause make this be prank o!! Men. Fight Annie, fight all of us o. Love is really wicked. Men ahhh”.
Khloe isn’t the only celebrity who has weighed into the divorce announcement. Media personality, Toke Makinwa expressed disappointment in his behavior as she vowed to stand by Annie.
BBNaija Queen Atang expressed concern for Annie as she hoped the actress was feeling good.
Women advocate Ifedayo Agoro, better known as Diary of a Naija Girl on Instagram, had slammed 2baba for dumping Annie after grooming her. She expressed how angry she was and called 2baba’s behavior disgusting as she noted how 2baba had abandoned Annie during her worst moment when she was crucified by the public.
