Award-winning Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy has spoken out after Davido referred to him as a ‘new cat’ in a recent interview.
Kemi Filani reported that Davido had referred to Burna Boy as an upcoming artiste in his recent interview.
In the trending clip, Davido spoke on how he and Wizkid were the first to blow things up and expressed joy in seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Mayorkun, Asake, and more also doing well.
“Me and Wizkid were one of the first to blow it up, it feels good seeing the new cats coming up like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, a lot

Now speaking out, Burna Boy who is unbothered by his comment shared photos from his highly successful London concert.
The singer made history as he sold out 80,000 capacity venue.

The Grammy singer expressed gratitude for making it possible for him at his biggest show to date.

Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi shades Davido for calling the Grammy singer ‘a new cat’
Recall that Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi had also reacted to Davido’s shade.
Taking to her comment Instagram story, Nissi threw shade at Davido as she shared a clip of Burna Boy at his recent performance.
She stated that her brother, who she also sarcastically referred to as ‘new cat’ is facing his hustle.
In another post, she shared a video of Governor Wike shading his haters with the caption, “Wike is indirectly saying; As e dey pain Dem e dey sweet us”.
Davido is probably clapping back at Burna Boy for referring to him as his junior in a previous post.
