Nissi, the sister to Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy has thrown shade at Davido over his belittling statement about her brother.
Kemi Filani reported that during a recent interview, Davido had referred to Burna Boy as an upcoming artiste.
In the trending clip, Davido spoke on how he and Wizkid were the first to blow things up and expressed joy in seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Mayorkun, Asake, and more also doing well.
“Me and Wizkid were one of the first to blow it up, it feels good seeing the new cats coming up like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, a lot of new cats coming, killing it, Asake that’s on my album, so yeah I think the future of Afrobeats is in good hands.”
Taking to her Instagram story, Nissi threw shade at Davido as she shared a clip of Burna Boy at his recent performance.
She stated that her brother, who she also sarcastically referred to as ‘new cat’ is facing his hustle.
In another post, she shared a video of Governor Wike shading his haters with the caption, “Wike is indirectly saying; As e dey pain Dem e dey sweet us”.
Davido is probably clapping back at Burna Boy for referring to him as his junior in a previous post.

Recall that last year, Burna Boy threw shade at Davido as he replied Wizkid.
Wizkid had sent a message to his colleagues in the industry on how to address him.
Reacting to it, Burna Boy concurred with Wizkid on him being the father of the music industry.
He stated that he was the uncle to Davido in the industry.
“Lmao, normally Wizkid na every Naija artistes popsy for sure. But I be Uncle to Davido for the Music thing!!! Yes I said it!!!”.
