Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy has dissed his rival, Davido, after a fan advised him to follow his lead and start a family.
The fan, identified as Bad Lieutenant via the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, told Burna Boy to wise up and start planning for the future by getting married and starting a family. He noted how Davido has already set an example as he further noted how Burna Boy is now 33 and isn’t getting any younger.
“Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 34 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger”.
Responding to him, Burna Boy told him to leave him alone as he questioned if he didn’t see what Davido was facing with one of his baby mamas.
“Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u no see wetin him dey face like this?”.
Faulting him for his statement, another fan stated that the singer couldn’t even answer a question like a reasonable person and went on to shade him.
“You can’t even answer a question like a reasonable person, LOL, just big head and plenty beards”.
Burna Boy replied, noting how the person didn’t use the best example. He wrote, “Ok. But between me and you, shey na better example the guy use?”.
A third fan had questioned if Adekunle Gold was a better example, and Burna Boy had positively replied to it.
The fan wrote, “Adekunle Gold na better example?”.
Burna Boy responded, “Ehen! Na wetin we dey pray for be that bro”.
Davido reignited his feud with Burna Boy last year when he referred to him as an upcoming artiste in his interview. In the viral clip, Davido spoke on how he and Wizkid were the first to blow things up and expressed joy in seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Mayorkun, Asake, and more also doing well.
Getting back at him this year, Burna Boy threw shade at him, calling Davido a joke while tackling a fan of the singer.
Burna threw another shade at him after a fan of Davido reminded him of how the singer helped him during his struggling days. Burna Boy stated that these are the lies Davido’s fans tell themselves to make them bold. He further stated that it is only online they have mouths, as he called Davido a pussy.
