Nigerian upcoming singer, B-Red who doubles as Davido’s, has recounted his first encounter with Burna Boy.
In an interview with Echoo Room, B-Red revealed that he first met Burna Boy in Port Harcourt and he ran after Davido’s car.
He claimed that Burna Boy had declared his love for Davido as he kept screaming about his love for the singer.
“The first day I met Burna Boy he was in Port Harcourt, he was running after Davido’s car. ‘O My God I love you Davido’ Burna was saying”, he said.
Davido calls Burna Boy a new cat
This is coming after Davido referred to Burna Boy as an upcoming artiste in his recent interview.
In the viral clip, Davido spoke on how he and Wizkid were the first to blow things up and expressed joy in seeing new cats like Burna Boy, Mayorkun, Asake, and more also doing well.
“Me and Wizkid were one of the first to blow it up, it feels good seeing the new cats coming up like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, a lot
of new cats coming, killing it, Asake that’s on my album, so yeah I think the future of Afrobeats is in good hands.”
Burna Boy breaks silence
Speaking out, Burna Boy who was unbothered by his comment shared photos from his highly successful London concert.
The singer made history as he sold out 80,000 capacity venue.
In a shady post, Burna stated that uniting people from all walks of life has always been his dream.
The Grammy singer expressed gratitude for making it possible for him at his biggest show to date.
Burna Boy’s sister, Nissi shades Davido for calling the Grammy singer ‘a new cat’
His sister, Nissi had also reacted to Davido’s shade.
Taking to her comment Instagram story, Nissi threw shade at Davido as she shared a clip of Burna Boy at his recent performance.
She stated that her brother, who she also sarcastically referred to as ‘new cat’ was facing his hustle.
In another post, she shared a video of Governor Wike shading his haters with the caption, “Wike is indirectly saying; As e dey pain Dem e dey sweet us”.
