Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has received prayers from actor and content creator Kamo State’s mother.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that Kamo and his wife had announced the birth of their first child. Sharing photos of the newborn, the skitmaker expressed gratitude to his wife, noting how she did the hardest job.
In a follow-up post, Kamo stirred the internet with his heartfelt appreciation epistle to Funke Akindele. He appreciated her for her spiritual, emotional, and financial contribution to his wife’s pregnancy and delivery.
The proud father narrated how the mother of two tried to help his wife give birth to their baby in the United States of America, got them the best medical facility in Nigeria, and gave his wife her driver and full security. He spoke about how she called daily to ensure his wife’s well-being.
A speechless Funke took to the comment section to accept the gratitude, stating that God would have made another person available if she hadn’t rendered her help.
A the child’s naming ceremony, which Funke sponsored, she was captured with Kamo State’s mother who rained prayers on her and appreciated her for her motherly roles and support.
Funke’s love for Kamo definitely knows no bounds as last year, Kamo State had appreciated her for her support following his wedding. He spoke about how genuine Jenifa had been since the time they met and expressed how honoured he is to be associated with her.
Funke’s sweet gesture to Kamo isn’t surprising as the box office Queen is known to go all out for people she loves.
Last year, Akindele had spent over two million naira on Celestial Churches in Nigeria, to celebrate the church’s month of children’s harvest.
Similarly, she offered to cover the expenses of a Tiktoker who justified why school isn’t important. Funke persuaded her to return to school and went as far as offering to send her to school and cover her educational expenses.
During the heat of Jumoke Aderounmu’s death, Funke’s colleague Bimbo Akisanya recalled how 10 years ago, the late Folake Oshadare, one of Nollywood’s make-up artists had revealed to her how Funke was sending monthly money for her medication as she was a cancer patient.
Her protege, Juliana Olayode had showered encomium on Funke as she recalled how the movie star emptied her account to save her mother’s life as she was battling Fibroid.
Actor Alesh Sanni recalled how years ago when he posted someone who needed a huge amount for medical bills, she reached out and sent the money and told him not to post it. He noted how it wasn’t once or twice, Funke had done this.
