Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stirred reactions from his fans after embracing his new calling of being a hardcore traditionalist.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago, that the controversial actor, in an Instagram post, announced that he is now a hardcore traditionalist. He noted how Africans, due to fear of what people would say, run away from their powerful African religion and their originality.
Calling it an abomination, Yul stated that he would never abandon the ways of his forefathers, which are built on truth, transparency, and fairness.
His post didn’t sit well with many, who dragged him for switching from his pastoral calling to being a traditionalist.

The irony of his post is that three days back, Yul had responded to those questioning if he was still a minister of God. He revealed that he is still a minister of God and is now more powerful because he has gone back to his roots. Explaining himself, he claimed that God opened his eyes and revealed the truth to him which has been hidden from many for decades.
Yul’s love and support for African traditionalist wouldn’t be surprising as weeks back, Edochie had made a case for Native doctors. He noted how many pastors have the calling to be Native doctors (Dibia) but are refusing to answer because White men and Nollywood brainwashed them to believe it is evil. The actor stated that being a Native doctor is a divine call from God as it means one has been chosen to help humanity.
Also, during the Easter celebration, Yul admonished the public to stop burning shrines and deities, noting that not all deities are evil. He educated Nigerians on how the Whites brainwashed us into abandoning our tradition as he admonished them to wake up and start embracing their tradition.
