Nollywood actress Laide Bakare is celebrating Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke on his 2nd anniversary as governor of the state.
Taking to her Instagram page, she noted how the Governor had achieved so much in a short time as she expressed how incredible it is to see all he has accomplished.
Expressing excitement at his forthcoming projects, she appreciated him for his leadership, inspiration, and hard work.
“Happy 2nd Anniversary, His Excellency @aadeleke_01! So much success in a short time! So incredible to see all that you have accomplished. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you, sir. Thank you for your leadership, inspiration, and hard work. Hope you have an Amazing day on your work anniversary. We love you dearly”.
In February of this year, Laide bagged an appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Speaking out, Laide announced that it was a new dawn for her as the appointment had kick-started her journey into politics. Calling herself honourable, she appreciated the Governor for trusting her and allowing her to serve as she pledged to the people of Osun State.
Following the appointment, Laide had tooted her horns as she reintroduced herself. She revealed that she is the CEO of Simline Estate developer, a philanthropist, a prolific artist/filmmaker, a serial entrepreneur, and the SSA to Governor Adeleke.
In July, Laide, while attending the burial ceremony of the mother of the Chief of Staff, with her daughter, had met Davido. The duo had taken pictures with the singer, as Laide expressed excitement at meeting him.
In other news, Laide had blown hot a trolls as she reflected on her career journey. Sharing an old clip of her on a movie set, she questioned where her trolls were when she started her acting career 16 years ago, as she noted how most of them weren’t even born then. She made them know that she would give it back to them unless she didn’t see their nasty comments.
