Nigerian music star Davido has melted the hearts of many with a video of him performing his groomsmen’s duty for his manager, Asa Asika.
Kemi Filani reported in September, 2024 that Asa Asika had popped the question to his heartthrob. The couple-to-be blushed in their black outfits as family and friends celebrated with them, including his boss, Davido, and the 30BG crew.
Taking to his Instagram story, Davido revealed that he was the first person to see the ring as he expressed excitement over their upcoming nuptial.
The lovebirds, who released their pre-wedding photos a day ago, are currently holding their traditional wedding in Lagos. In a video making rounds online, Davido was captured performing his groomsmen’s duty for Asa.

Recall that DJ Cuppy was in a relationship with Asa in 2018, the two went public in January with their affair. Asa had revealed how he met DJ Cuppy in an Instagram Q&A, where he claimed his best friend had linked the two of them together some years ago. Cuppy, on her part, had described him as a special person. Unfortunately, like many celebrities’ relationships, they didn’t last long as they parted ways in 2020.
Since their breakup, Cuppy has gone in other relationships. Her most recent was her failed engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor in 2022. Unfortunately, the relationship didn’t last a year as the lovebirds called off their engagement over undisclosed reasons. Her ex,had revealed why he dumped her, stating that his exes are shit drivers, a statement which didn’t sit well with Cuppy, and she hit back at him.
