Mabel Makun, the estranged wife of Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, better known as AY, has caused a stir online with a video of her and her alleged boyfriend.
The interior designer, in a video captured by Media Room Hub, was seen on a boat cruise with her rumored boyfriend, and elsewhere on the clip, they were seen holding hands.
The video has since caused a stir online as while some supported the new relationship, others dragged her for moving on so fast.

Recall that in April, 2023, AY confirmed the end of his almost 20-year relationship with Mabel, expressing regrets for losing his home, and also admitted to doing things that were compromising during the marriage. He warned against projecting the wrong narrative about him and his family, which he found harmful to his teenage daughter, and hinted at the possible fault from his wife.
Mabel also broke her silence, stating that her dreams of a lifelong marriage had now taken a different direction and pleaded with the media and public to give them privacy as they navigate their new phase. She noted how many lies have been peddled against her, but she will honour her kids by not addressing them.
In November, Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that AY hasn’t reached his second daughter since their marriage crashed as Mabel had denied him all access to his second daughter. According to an insider, AY had to decide means to reach his daughter through her nanny and when Mabel found out, all hell was let loose.
Though AY’s relationship status is unknown, rumors had filtered the air that he was in an affair with Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, May, and AY was planning to marry the mother of four. Ayo, had shut down the rumors by filing a petition to the police against the rumor peddler for his defamatory statements, which he claimed had hurt his over a decade reputation.
