Veteran filmmaker, Tunde Kelani has brought actress, Toyin Abraham to tears with his review of her new movie, Ijakumo.
Kemi Filani news reported that the actress premiered her much talked about movie yesterday, which attracted top celebrities.
The filmmaker who was one of the attendees a the premiere, took to his Instagram page to review the movie.
Kelani crowned it as the best Christmas and New Year present, above Funke Akindele’s new movie, Battle on Buka Streets.
“Toyin Abraham has assembled a formidable creative team to give film lovers the best Christmas and New Year present with her latest and best movie, IJAKUMO.
The premiere last night was a carnival and we all had a nice time. The film is wonderful and highly recommended. IJAKUMO opens in cinemas on December 23, 2022″.
Reacting, Toyin Abraham reposted his post to her Instagram page and appreciated him for the sweet words.

Toyin Abraham recounts trials in emotional self note
Weeks back, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi had recounted her trials in the movie industry.
The mother of one who was gearing up for her movie premiere in December recounted the bashes, criticisms and negative comments she had received over the years; and also the praises she has received.
Toyin Abraham announced that she had returned to filmmaking and will not leave any stone unturned.
Toyin appreciated all her cast and crew who came out to support her, her fans who are continuously rooting for her, and also her creator for the wisdom and strength to navigate her journey as a mum and wife.
“A lot of times people don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. Shooting a movie, getting creative minds together, making a project and then pushing it out there for thousands to see.
Over the past years, I have been bashed, gotten lots of criticism and yes lots of praises too and for this, I am happy to tell you guys that I have taken it all in, and I am fully back as filmmaker. When I say I am back, I mean fully and I am not going to leave any stone unturned. I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to my cast and crew, to everybody who came out to support me.
To all my fans rooting for me, without you there will be no me. You all are truly my Titans. To God for the wisdom and strength to navigate this journey as a mum and a wife. I’m eternally grateful.
