Social media users have reacted after music star Davido seems to weigh into his babymama, Sophia Momodu’s house saga.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday night that Sophia got the internet on a chokehold, as she hinted at acquiring a new house. In the video Sophia posted on Snapchat, she could be seen walking around, filming a recently completed house as she declared that she wouldn’t be hiding God’s blessings anymore.
Following the news, a Real Estate company had exposed the mother of one, calling her out for her effrontery and guts to lie with so much confidence. The company claimed that they sold the house to a client and that the client wasn’t Sophia as she doesn’t own a house with them.
Taking to his Instagram story, Davido shared a photo of him and his wife, Chioma from their traditional wedding in June. In the photo, the singer was captured with a shocked expression.
The post has stirred the internet with some slamming him for always involving himself in Sophia’s drama.

Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
In June, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia Momodu was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
Recently, Sophia, while reflecting on her and Imade’s trip to Disneyland last year, shaded Davido as she stated that she fulfilled a promise that was intentionally broken to a child. She implied that Davido broke his promise to take Imade on a trip to Disneyland. Bragging, Sophia indirectly stated that nobody can break a promise to her child.
A follower of hers, via her Snapchat page, noted how if Sophia doesn’t care for Imade, no one else will do the same, as he admonished her to love intentionally, be calm and accept her presence. His statement didn’t sit well with her, and she slammed him.
