Media personality Daddy Freeze has made a case for music icon, 2baba following his divorce announcement from his wife, Annie Idibia.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that the legendary singer shocked many when he brought his marital issues online and announced that he is separated from Annie and is on the verge of divorce.
Taking to his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze in a video live, admonished Nigerians not to cancel 2baba because of his flaws as he pointed out how many men in the Bible were like him. The former OAP noted how 2baba has never hidden his philandering ways and was like that before Annie married him.
Speaking on the viral video of 2baba with his alleged new girlfriend, Daddy Freeze questioned why people expected more from 2baba especially knowing about his past life. He stated that cheating is the singer’s weakness and one shouldn’t judge him or cancel him for it. He even added that both he and Annie had faults in the marriage.
Sending a message to the likes of Toke and Mary promising to show 2baba, he noted how 2baba has been the same over the years as he urged them to give the legendary singer some credit and learn to manage our expectations of people.
“Neither one of them was an Angel or a demon. They both have their fault. I am close to both of them, so I wouldn’t take any side. But this video is out there, I might just react to it.

Let’s not forget his immense contribution to African music because of the flaws that Solomon, Moses, Abraham, and others in the Bible had.

Freeze’s comment on celebrities weighing into the matter is undoubtedly a shade at Toke Makinwa, Mary Njoku and others, who are pitching tent with her.
